09 May Amazing Athletes named a Franchise 500 company for 7th year in a row!

For the seventh consecutive year, Entrepreneur Magazine has named Franklin-based franchise Amazing Athletes a Franchise 500 company, a title reserved for franchises with strong financial stability, sustainable growth, and robust operations and franchise support. Amazing Athletes ranked in sixth in the Children’s Fitness category and 343rd overall in 2016.

Over the past 10 years, Amazing Athletes has combined best franchise business practices and impressive franchise growth, which has led them to where they are today. With more than 100 franchise owners nationwide, Amazing Athletes is driving change in early childhood development, fighting childhood obesity, and using sports as a means to teach young children valuable life skills.

Amazing Athletes was launched by Glen and Janee Henderson in 2003 in Orange County, California. Since embracing the franchise business model in 2006, the youth fitness program has grown from just 11 preschools in California to a national network of active, independently owned franchise businesses with high success rates throughout the country.

Selections for the 37th annual Franchise 500 list were made through careful consideration based on statistical data from July 2013 through July 2015. Amazing Athletes was selected from several hundreds of submissions made by franchises across the United States. The honored spot on the Franchise 500 list for the seventh consecutive year highlights Amazing Athletes’ dedication to continued excellence.

Amazing Athletes also ranked on Franchise Grade’s Top 500 franchise list for 2016. Ranking at #251, Amazing Athletes was named among the top 10% “Healthiest Brands” in the United States. The Franchise Grade Top 500 list assessed more than 2,000 franchise systems across the country, analyzing data and investment risk of prospective franchisees.
