Angel Calvosa Bio:
Angel grew up in Missouri and was a standout student-athlete throughout her school years in tennis and track. Her passion for tennis continues today and she enjoys sharing her court time with family and friends.
A published author, Angel has won multiple awards for Leadership and Service in her community. Angel served as Facilitator of the women’s empowerment group, Powerful You!, and as Vice President and Public Relations lead of her local Rotary Club in Maplewood, New Jersey. Angel consistently led fundraising efforts for both local and worldwide causes. For over a decade, in Los Angeles and, most recently, in Maplewood, NJ, Angel owned a successful real estate business and was recognized with multiple Top Producer and Client Service awards during her time in New Jersey.
Angel loves to travel and exploring the world and has lived in New York, New Jersey, Southern California, Texas, and Arizona. She now happily resides in Johns Creek, GA with her husband, Gregory, and their five-year-old daughter.
Today, through Amazing Athletes of Greater Atlanta, Angel hopes to instill the foundations of a healthy lifestyle and a connection between the mind, body, and spirit, beginning in childhood and continuing through adulthood.
Gregory Calvosa Bio:
Greg was raised in the urban playgrounds of Brooklyn, New York, and was an accomplished, multi-sport athlete throughout high school, playing varsity soccer, swimming, tennis, track and field, and basketball. A champion runner, Greg raced the 800m at Division 1 level for the State University of New York at Albany. For nearly a decade of his youth, he developed a passion for teaching sports to children at summer camps and, later as an adult, as a basketball coach in Los Angeles for co-ed youth teams comprised of 5-7-year-old children.
Greg has two decades of experience in Branding, Marketing, Advertising and Sales with some of the media industry’s most recognizable brands. He served as a marketing leader at NBC Universal and Sony Pictures Television. He also led marketing for The Madison Square Garden Company’s two regional sports networks, and collaborated with the NY Knicks, NY Rangers, NJ Devils, NY Islanders, Red Bull NY, and NY Football Giants to create awareness, build the brands, and drive both television tune in and season, group and single ticketing sales initiatives.
His love of sports continues today and he enjoys playing basketball, golf, and tennis. He is thrilled to be a leader at the forefront of childhood development with Amazing Athletes and clearly understands the value a thoughtful, fine-tuned, athletic curriculum plays in a healthy childhood and throughout adulthood.
Greg resides in Johns Creek, GA with his wife Angel and daughter.
