Rory Levine, Owner
Rory was born and raised on Long Island, went to Indiana University and moved to Chicago after graduation. He’s had a passion for playing sports his whole life, ranging from hockey, soccer, baseball, and basketball. In high school, Rory played on the varsity basketball team, although played is a loose term. Currently, he plays in a recreational ice hockey league, where he has captained his team to two leisure league championships over the past 5 years.
During his time on summer college breaks, he worked at Camp Lokanda, an overnight camp in upstate New York that teaches children not only sports, but life lessons. Upon graduation, he worked as an IT Project Manager. In that time, he went to post graduate school at DePaul University and received an MBA in Sports Management and Operations Management as well as an MS in Human Resource Management. Rory is a board member of the Lincolnshire Sports Association, the local youth organization, and a board member of Lighting SC, the local travel soccer club.
Amazing Athletes allows him to take both his passion of sports and integrate it in a program where he can help children learn about sports and fitness at an early childhood age while having an amazing time doing it. Seeing children progress with their motor skills from the time one enters our program to the time they move onto public school is a real joy and gives him a sense of fulfillment.
Rory and his wife Alisa live in Lincolnshire where she owns a business selling invitations, stationery, and unique gift items. Rory and Alisa have two boys, Jake (14) and Jordan (9). Although the kids can drive both Alisa and Rory crazy, especially two boys at that age, they still love the kids dearly with all their heart.
